Tis the season to have things slip by because of the after rush of Christmas and New Year. I just looked at the calendar and realized that you have less than 60 days to make plans!
For those Brothers that haven’t joined us recently in Ft. Meyers or are thinking about doing that, realize the clock is ticking! We put an ATTENDEES LIST(above) to let everyone know who’s planning on socializing and/or golfing. Friday – March 2nd @ FishBones – this is a great spot for casual dinning and meeting and greeting. There is enough parking for a Packer Game and has easy access from the expressway. Beside a dinning area we all enjoyed the opportunity to mingle at the outside bar area with a unique shopping area at the Shell Factory. Plan to join us in thanking Lou Piorkowski, Ron Bailey and Jerry Cimarosti for their efforts in putting this together. (2787 N. Tamiami Trail, N. Ft. Meyers)
Saturday – March 3rd @ Eastwood Golf Course – I’m not a golfer, but I heard nothing but positives from those that share the addiction. The biggest plus is that it’s not the big flat FL course you expect. It looks more like those in WI with plenty of roll and trees, other than palm. I would suggest you talk with Ron Bailey and Jerry Cimarosti about the conditions. We had one group of ladies and they’re looking for some competition; so girls bring your wallets! Alli-Gator Restaurant, after golf, will provide the food and refreshment for the day. Eastwood Golf Course and Alli-Gator’s are within minutes of each other and have easy expressway access and convience. (451 Veronica S. Shoemaker Blvd., Ft Meyers)
Sunday – March 4th @ Pelican Preserve – It is our understanding that Chancellor Telfer will have a UWW brunch. I believe that reservations are required and the cost is $20. Four Phi Chi’s attended last year and had a great time. The brunch was worth the charge and we had the opportunity to represent Phi Chi to the Chancellor. (10561 Vento Drive, Ft Meyers)
