I've been working on a video memorial of/for dad and have finally completed something to pass along.  I'm new at doing things like this and used windows movie maker to put it together which doesn't allow me to make DVD's for people individually.  So, to make it easier for everyone to see, I've posted it on YouTube (the link is below), rember to turn on your sound.

The video is about 10 minutes in length and includes three songs.

The first song is "The Unicorn" by the Irish Rovers.  For years we went to Irish Fest in Milwaukee to celebrate not only being Irish but also dad's birthday which almost always fell on or around that weekend.  This song reminds me of dad and all the fun we had over the years.  The second song is, "The Long Journey," by Allison Krause.

Over the past couple of years, she became one of dad's favorite musicians.  This song was one of those that were still in his CD player after he passed away.  The final song is, "The End of the End," by Paul McCartney.  The album this song is on came out right around the time dad was first diagnosed with cancer.  In October of 2007, while Kelli, Scott, dad and I were sitting around talking he mentioned this song.  He said that he felt this song reflected how he felt about life--that this life has been great for him and the next life will be even better.

I know many of you have other pictures/memories of dad and I tried to include as many as I could.  I hope you enjoy the video and if you know anyone who doesn't have access to the internet, please feel free to share it.
